The Temple Lodge – Quality Surfing Accommodation in Bingin Bali
The Temple Lodge is situated high up on the cliff of Bingin overlooking the world class waves of Impossible, Bingin and Dreamlands. Looking out from our infinity line pool, a guest at The Temple Lodge could feast their eyes on 180 degrees of uninterrupted sea views spanning across from Uluwatu to Kuta and the majestic volcanoes beyond.
A day at The Temple Lodge could go something like this: surfing, surfing and more surfing, white sand beaches, delicious homemade food, magnificent sunsets viewed from the pool drink in hand followed by a comfortable sleep in one of our five unique suites.
Our fridges are always packed with ice cold beer and fresh ingredients and snaks for our delicious breakfasts, amazing lunches and dinners to die for!
There are plenty of other activities in the area such as golfing, snorkelling and yoga, or relaxing your surfed out muscles with a variety of treatments at our in house spa. The Temple Lodges driver is always available awaiting you every whim. A short 30 minute drive will take you to all the major shopping areas in Kuta or if you want to spend a night out on the town.
If quality surfing accommodation far away from the noise and bustle of Kuta is what you are looking for, then look no further because The Temple Lodge is the place for you.
The Coral Cave
Literally carved out of the coral cliff side, The Coral Cave is one of our best suites: a large cushioned balcony looks out onto the ocean and is a perfect stop for a private candle light dinner.
Secluded, spacious and romantic, the Coral Cave is idea for honeymooners.
The temple suite
This brand new suite is set in a private garden beside the temple.
It offers total seclusion with a private lap pool and pool side bale.
A natural river stone bathroom is an amazing feature.
Since the Suite is extremely large additional beds can be added to accommodate friends or children.
You can either dine in your suite by the pool or join the other guests in the «Cliff Edge Restaurant ».
The Drift Wood Suite
The name said it all, constructed with drift wood collected from the beaches along the cliff and naturally plastered with clay from the property.
The Drift Wood suite is spacious, romantic and beautifully decorated, it has a silver Victorian bed and the large garden-like bathroom is decorated with frangipani and other tropical plants and flowers; this suite is fitted for a Maharaja and his Maharani.
The Papaya Suite
Painted Green to fit the name, the Papaya suite is nestled near the back of the property in a verdant tropical garden.
Smaller and cozier, the Papaya would be the perfect room for a young backpacking couple.
The Spice suite
The Spice Suite is very peaceful and it's private courtyard is filled with lush greenery.
It's the ideal suite for a family of four as the two kids can sleep in the Balinese style bale.
The open air shower is one of the suite's best features as showering beneath the stars is a pleasure only
a lucky few can experience!

Kitchen & Restaurant
From 7:30 am until bed time, The Temple Lodge's Kitchen and Restaurant will be fully staffed and ready to cook up a storm in a variety of different cusine styles ranging from vegetarian, ayurvedic, macrobiotic, Indian, Italian and Balinese amongst others. The fish market is only a 15 minute drive from the lodge, so freshly caught fish is almost constantly on the menu. Not to mention our famous prawn risotto!! All our vegetables are ordered from an organic farm in the mountain village of Bedugul.
Our breakfast is made with home made ingredients; we prepare our own muesli, yogurt, jams and breads, we like to serve what is in season and as much as possible organically grown.
